Last year, JVC organized a very successful launching event for DLA-HD100. This year, they worked with top 5 AV Magazines again, for their latest projector HD750 launch.

There’s little exhibitions in Singapore which focusing solely on AV products. The International Sound & Sight Exhibition, perhaps the Only AV Show in Singapore. This year, the location has moved to Parkroyal On Kitchener Road but still attracted so many audiences to visit. OS Screen Singapore distributor Wo Kee Hong borrowed our screen to their dealer Sound Decision, for JVC HD projector live demonstration.

On 15 October, Mitsubishi organized 2 premier shows for their latest HD Home Theatre projector HD7000. They used OS 150 inches 2.35:1 Cinemascope type Pure Mat II plus Frame Screen (PA-150L, WF-202) for live demonstration. HD7000 has a superb contrast performance. Together with OS Screen, all the audiences were so amused with the picture quality.

More and more projectors have anamorphic mode for end-users to enjoy even wider movies at home. As a leader in the industry, OS already started to supply 2.35:1 cinemascope type of projector screens from last year.

The Hong Kong High-end Audio Visual Show, organized by Audiotechnique magazine, is an annual great event for hi-end audio, music and home theatre lovers in Hong Kong, China and South East Asia.

This year, the show was scheduled to start from 8 August, which was same as the opening day for the Beijing Olympic.

The Biggest, The Brightest, The Most Impressive

OS tailor-made a 220 inches 16:9 fixed-type screen, the biggest screen in the show for our dealer Luen Hing Electric. They used the world's brightest projector BARCO XLM HD30 (30,000 ANSI) to bring the HD-live action from the Beijing Olympic. This drew a lot of attention to the visitors and from time to time, the booth was crowded with people. Not only that, there's another 80 inches Rear-type screen (InfoShot) at the same booth for Live from Beijing too.

OS also supplied a 150 inches 16:9 fixed-type Acoustic transparent screen (SoundMat) to another exhibitor Richcoln. That was our SoundMat's first premier live demonstration in Hong Kong. The speaker was set behind the screen the audiences were so impressed with the Picture & Sound quality. Furthermore, we provided a 120 inches 16:9 fixed-type Pure Mat II plus screen to Sonus Faber.

The KL International AV Show 2008 marked the 8th year that this annual AV Showcase for the Malaysian AV Industry has been held at the J.W. Marriott Hotel. Every year the KLIAV Show is to witness new AV Technologies being introduced or the maturation of others.

This year, our Malaysia distributor JV Concept used a JVC HD-100 D-ILA projector with Schneider anamorphic lens to project a 2.35:1 superwide image and as a result obtained the best Picture in the KLIAV Show.

OS tailor-made a 130 inches motorized 2.35:1 Pure Mat II plus screen for JV Concept and many visitors were so excited on the picture quality.

Bangkok Audio/Video Show (BAV 2008) was held at Grand Mercure Fortune Hotel during 3 - 6th July.
The show was quite busy with a lot of visitors to the 44 participants' show rooms.

Our distributor PIYANAS ELECTRIC occupied 5 rooms for demonstrations, and in one of his main room OS Acoustically Transparent Screen WS-102 was shown with Sanyo Projector LP-Z2000 and won many high praises among the visitors.
Mr. Chaiwat Chongpatana, the president of PIYANAS, commented that this show was far better than his expectation, and a great success.

EPSON launched 5 business projectors at one time and the product launch was held at a hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui.
One of the projector, EB-G5200W, has 4,200 ansi lumens high brightness and a native 16:10 panel for 1,280 x 800 WXGA presentation.

EPSON used a 100 inches OS Fixed Screen (Pure Mat II plus) to demonstrate the power of this projector.
Without turn off all the lightings, we can still enjoy a sharp and beautiful movie.

There are more and more business users using WXGA desktop PC or notebook for presentation and OS already cope with the market trend by supplying 16:10 High quality projector screen.

Our Thailand distributor Piyanas Electric opend a new showroom in Nakornrachasima , 300 kms. from Bangkok up to the north east. By this addition, Piyanas has 8 showrooms now and is planning to expand more in recently year to cover all over Thailand.
