London, What Hi*Fi Show, Nov. 2-4, 2007

The annual What Hi*Fi show was held in the London Novotel Hammersmith from 2nd to 4th of November last. In this top U.K. Audio Video event, OSI Europe joint forces with the high-end projector manufacturer “Projectiondesign” from Norway.

In the main area of the show, Projectiondesign came with a very special and attractive game feature. Visitors of the booth, could participate in a head to head formula 1 race, sourced by an advanced Sony PS3 Play Station. This appeared to be a very challenging match, because for 3 long days, visitors were queuing up “to get the experience”.

For this occasion Projectiondesign used 2 HD (1080p) Action Model III projectors, which were a perfect match with our 2 Pure Mat II plus (Pa-100H, WF202) projection screens. We got many enthusiastic reactions of the audience. Especially the natural and very sharp images on our screens, were spontaneously commented by many visitors.

This show definitely contributed to OS’ brand image and the acceptance of our screen technology in Europe.

OS Screens were introduced to the Benelux markets during a busy HiFi event in the Sheraton Hotel in Brussels. Clofis, OS’ distributor in the Benelux, did participate in this show, together with Projectiondesign from Norway. Offering optimal solutions for High Definition environments, our Pure Mat II plus screens went new, very well with the very compact projectors of Projection Design ( M25/1080P, M20/720P).

Thanks to the High Definition source and top level projectors, most visitors were much impressed by the excellent and original image quality, that could be achieved with our Pure Mat screen material.
Regularly occurring Moiré effects, limited diffusion patterns and too bright images were fully avoided by our “state of the art” screen material. The very detailed and neutrally reflected pictures were much appreciated by the audience and, as a consequence, our Pure Mat philosophy was easily conveyed and accepted.

In the very hearts of London and Berlin, the "Colour Rooms" were launched by Bravia/Sony at the end of August 2007. These highly appreciated venues are set to become the hottest event spaces in town, boasting state of the art Audio/Video and Projection applications. Thanks to the excellent image quality of OS Pure Matt II plus surface material, it was not a hard job for OSI Europe to convince Sony to use OS Screens in the Homecinema theatres on the spot. OSI Europe considers the application of its projection screens in these top events as a clear proof that, also in Europe, full acceptance of its unique product characteristics has now been realised.
